Religious and Cultural Voices Meet in Madrid

Madrid gathered community leaders, artists and experts in coexistence to highlight cultural diversity and peaceful coexistence. The dialogue included a representative of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, Fernando Hernández of the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, a Roma guitarist and composer, and Denise González. Speakers offered reflections from faith, culture and public service on how education can reduce prejudice. Throughout the gathering, participants considered themes such as tolerance, social cohesion and the prevention of discrimination. Fundación Mejora framed the initiative with Scientology’s emphasis on ethical values and community improvement. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and Scientology international institutions, emphasised that cultural and religious diversity contributes to democratic life when rooted in respect for human rights.
